Hi i now have a 2nd laser, can anybody help with the following issue
all was working fine, except sometimes (more often than not) i send a job to the laser, and it does not matter what speed or power i use it does not cut through the 6mm wood
i try changing the focus height, manually change the settings in the file through the machines interface,
i normally cut 6mm wood on this machine at 15 speed 50% power
if i put same wood in machine and set the interface to 15 speed 50% power, and manually cut through the wood (using pulse and direction buttons) it cuts fine
can any one help on this issue
the machine is only 5months old, i cannot get hold of dropswell lasers
the machine is dropswell 1060 co2
or does anyone know of a laser engineer in the Essex area of the UK ??
laser loses power

Do you have a mA gauge? If so that would be a good place to tell what might be happening. Almost has to be the tube or HV power supply?
