Are the mirrors pretty universal? If you have a 40w tube [that actually is 30w] you need to be more careful with mirrors and lenses, with 100w it is not quite as important. It is good to have an extra lens and maybe a set of mirrors but mine have lasted a long time. When you are fresh there are a few things that can damage them.

- Accessories: I have a combining lenses, pin tables [homebuilt], honeycomb tables , wireless remote, Modifed Ultimate Air Assist, home built non-powered rotary device, PrusaMK4 and Mini Prusa printers.
Just like the lenses there are a lot of different coatings with different amounts of loss from mirror to mirror. Russ was making/polishing copper mirrors but I think he cooled on that. Again I choose the price midrange and don't worry about it. I changed mine after 2-3 years out of guilt and to see if it made a difference... not that I could notice.
