Hello from Leander, Texas.

I am not only new to this forum, but am completely new to laser cutting/engraving. My wife and I bought a Boss LS-1630 6 months ago, and have not had the chance to figure it out. I have now decided to dedicate the holiday season to learning all I can and put the Boss to work.

The Boss comes with LaserWorks, which from what I can tell is just rebranded RDWorks.

Thank you for accepting my registration request. I look forward to learning and when applicable, sharing what I have learned.

Welcome Jon- we have some satisfied Boss laser owners and we have a translated RDworks [laserworks is a clone] manual which should make your journey easier. Read up and ask whatever questions you still have. My daughter/granddaughter/great-granddaughter live in Round Rock and I get down that way occasionally. Gene
