Oh, what a hole we've jumped into...
My wife and I purchased our first laser recently and have started up the steep but fun path of learned how to harness it's potential. We are expecting our first next May and have been looking into different options for things my wife can do from home to express her creativity and make some extra money once she quits her current job. With my interest in lasers, technical skills and desire to tinker, and her anticipation of an unlimited creativity outlet, we decided on a laser and invested the money to get her set up to start producing sellable wares. She's still not sure where she wants to go with it, lots of things to try before she hones in a little on what she'll produce primarily. For now, we plan to focus on paper-based goods to get started and go from there.
Russ's videos have been invaluable so far and will only become more valuable as time moves on. We look forward to learning more from others in this community as well.
Neither myself nor my wife are much for social media/posted/commenting etc., so our participation in this forum might be sporadic at best, but we hope to be able to contribute some to honor the many that give so much of their time and talent to benefit everyone else. Those that do contribute so much to the community, usually without any monetary gain of any kind, are great examples of Charity and Love, the epitome of this wonderful Christmas season we find ourselves in right now. So thanks in advance to all.
Good Morning

Welcome Chris- there is a lot to be learned here, I believe. Please consider being at least somewhat participatory as peeps who do not engage are sometimes dropped. You are bound to have questions, ask away, it is good for all of us, even if we think we know the answer there may well be another [better?] way to do something. Gene
