I assume you created the panel in solidworks - - I am not sure why the S was open either.
I use solidworks as well - it doesn't usually make mistakes - perhaps you captured some stay vector when you exported as a DXF.
I used some software called "Aspire" to correct the issue but I did not pay attention to the specific problem beyond the open vectors.
One other point regarding DXFs - I have found when exporting from solidworks as a DXF and importing to RDWORKS I don't always have a exact dimension in RDWORKS as was created in Solidworks.
I have found exporting to ai in solidworks and importing ai into RDWORKS gives me precise dimensions.

Hmm, i also never had problems with SW, but the first time with this special font and there only with this panel.
I will try the "ai" export as well.
Thanks

Hello,
at the end i found the real Problem.
It is not related to Solidworks and also not to RD Works.
I wonder about the Problem, because i had never such Problems, and did a deep research.
Then i found out it is a Font Problem. I tried in SW to put some letters "RETRACT" and "LANDING" into one scetch,
but it did not work. Then i changed the Font to ARIAL MS and with this Font it works.
Still wonder why....
Then i installed a Font Editor and had a deep look into the Font.
Here i found out some Errors in the Font Glyphes. The "A" had in the upper inner part not only 3 lines, it has 5 lines.
I deleted the 2 Lines which are too much and installed the font again and then i was able to put 2 Letters "A" in one scetch and
make a cut future.
Then i did that with all other Glyphes and now it works very fine !!
