I signed up on trotec site but "Unfortunately we cannot ship to the UK so I have forwarded your contact information to Trotec UK." nothing received yet.

I'm not looking large quantities as i'm only a hobbyist since I started back to work

Just checked Hindleys, selected a couple of pieces for testing, unfortunately their delivery pricing to Northern Ireland (U.K.) is £15 (parcelforce worldwide).

RM small parcel:

Max length: 45cm

1st Class £3.60
2nd Class £3.00

Not sure I understand this, couple of sheets 406mm x 305mm x 1.5mm thick ..... here's the reply when I asked if they would use RM 1st class small parcel as above:

That delivery option is not feasible for what you want to order. The items are too heavy once you factor in packaging as well I’m afraid. We use Parcel Force for the proof of postage as well so the parcels can be tracked.

Customer service award doesn't go to ....... hindleys.com

A friendly enquiry to see if they would post a couple of small sheets of 1.5mm thick material by RM small parcel instead of parcelforce worldwide, equating to a customer delivery saving of £9 - £12 resulted in this response ... most disappointing.

"We are not willing to send it via post. Its Parcel Force only as I said. Find another supplier if you are unhappy with our shipping costs."

Ah. I'd forgotten their delivery charges. I usually order 10 sheets at a time to lessen the pain.

Sure you're only down the road from me Ian. PM me what sizes/samples you're looking and I'll put it in the mail.

Cheers Gary, I might just take you up on that shortly, interested to see what you're doing with the material too. Didn't realise you were relatively local.

Trotec have been in touch with me this morning too, they are sending me some info etc so i'll see how it compares.
