The picture was taken on an angle like that to show the steps. It was cut as you see it don't know if a focus problem or y move problem. I am learning as I go. I have done a lot of cuts and this started here lately so thinking something is loose or is moving during the cuts.

Without power applied move your gantry in both the x and y and see if you feel any drag That changes as you move from end to end

Check the bed level with the gantry

Check the lens head Assy tight

Check the lens seated and properly mounted

Accessories: I have a combining lenses, pin tables [homebuilt], honeycomb tables , wireless remote, Modifed Ultimate Air Assist, home built non-powered rotary device, PrusaMK4 and Mini Prusa printers.

Still looks like the beam is hitting the edge of the hole in the nozzle and reflecting to the side. Russ and I collaborated on this tool to easily check that the beam is in the center. Size the holes to just fit the end of the nozzle cone and put a piece of tape over the bottom of the tool. This one will check this in the 4 corners of the machine- you can just put paper tape over the nozzle and rub down well enough so you can see the opening and pulse.

That will the the 3rd mirror adjustment. The other test for this is a pulse just out of the nozzle and then moving the bed down 4" or so and trying another pulse- that will indicate if the 3rd mirror is positioned properly as well as being adjusted correctly.

Hi Everyone,

I did the adjustment and it is cutting nice and clean now. This is the very reason I joined this sight because everyone is so helpful and there is a ton of information on here. Thanks for jumping in with your ideas and experience. Never to old to learn and always fun to learn even if it makes you work some. Thanks again for all of your help.
