Welcome Charles from Luling, the home of the busiest Buc-ees & watermelons I know of. I'm down the road a bit between Sealy & Katy on I-10. Lots of good info to be found here so settle in and do some readin.
I've had my laser about 4 years now and just learned Saturday that I can cut a 19mm 1x4 with 3 passes. Nice cut with no char. You don't learn if you don't try.
