RDworks install problems

- Accessories: I have a combining lenses, pin tables [homebuilt], honeycomb tables , wireless remote, Modifed Ultimate Air Assist, home built non-powered rotary device, PrusaMK4 and Mini Prusa printers.
I have a mini computer [BMAX Celeron N3060 processor] that I bought a few months back from Banggood when the price was hard to pass up, it has Win10pro- which I am slowly getting up to speed on- and could use it now on my laser. I am not sure it is up to the job but figured I should find out, I have not been able to load RDw .19 or .24 on it, altho it loaded Lightburn OK. The memory is 64GB and has a card slot for more. Is there something I am missing here? Thanks Gene

I believe I set up as admin but did not try compatibility mode- I will research that. Thank you Sir. I don't have enough monitors or keyboards at home [yet] so I will try again later. This mini has a bracket to hang on the back of the monitor, would be handy.

I got it working with the compatibility troubleshooter- .24 did not load but .19 [that I actually use] did. I am sending this from the mini... will try it tomorrow on the laser. Thanks Pete.

Well, it works well so far. The largest problem I had was with networking to our Local Area Network and figuring out how to map the drive of the section that we use for our laser related files. I will add a pict of the size of the processor- I have been using old laptops for a processor up till now but they can be a pain, altho cheap. I wonder if it will run my Shopbot? I really like the size, you can upgrade the RAM [4GB] and there is a slot for a small memory card. It has a cooling fan BTW also a HDMI monitor port- I bought this monitor because of the format fitting RDworks best. Maybe there will be meaningful life after Covid?
