So in quick time and beating the optical bits from Cloudray my Z100 100W Power Supply turned up via DHL this morning.

I took the so called warning label as an invitation as I am a :ugeek: to pull out the screwdriver and open it up for a peek.

First surprise was the custom Aluminium Extrusion case, I had expected a two piece sheetmetal one.

Nice modular design inside with a STM based Microcontroller board that https://www.laserpower.cc/products/co2- ... ply/3.html obviously use across their range. Mine is a rebadge Cloudray version.

The Board the Micro is soldered into does all the control and feedback parts of the electronics to control and drive the two series wired Flyback Transformers on the other board.

One of the features of this PSU over some of the other cheaper ones is it comes with a seperate LCD display unit that will show Current and Voltage output or if connected it will also show those numbers back to the 6442 or 6445 Ruida Controllers displays.

Other than that a good looking serviceable unit. I will get some clear bench space for safety and plug in my 6445 controller and the LCD and add some more detail :)
