I know Lightburn can do it. Is there a way to make RDWorks move the bed between layers? Or maybe use the U axis to fool it into moving the Z axis?
Probably right in front of me and not realizing what the Chinglish translation is.

As usual, it was right in front of me. I searched the forum for Z instead of Pen.
I looked at #167 & #169. I'll have to think about how I want to use it.
Going to play with the origin as well. I'd like the head to get out of the way after cutting some things, but I cut a LOT of one off and a fair amount of that from scrap left overs so I'm not sure if I should try one of the other set ups, or just stay With current position and use the origin button.
I will say the anchor point has me intrigued, but I have a bad habit of leaving things on the cutting bed so it also scares me a bit. I've already ran the head / nozzle into a few things that required a bit of re-alignment. Broke my acrylic version of Russ' #3 slide mount doing that. Had to put the aluminum plate back in for the time being, not enough scrap acrylic to make the parts I need.
