Hi all,

I have an Orion Motorworks 50W laser. It has a 12x20 bed. Awhile back, I purchased a 300x500mm honeycomb bed which I use quite a bit for cutting wood and acrylic. I need to upsize my honeycomb as it's a bit too small for some of my projects. Ideally, I need a bed that would be more in line with the table size (12x20). Does anyone have a good source for an inexpensive steel honeycomb bed that would fit this cutter better so I can utilize more of the bed? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Gene,

I checked them out. Unfortunately, all they have is the 600x400 which is too big and the 500x300 which is what I have already. Bummed they don't have a honeycomb bed specifically for this format. Might have to get one made unless I can track one down.

Thanks for the link Gene.

My bed size the same. I bought a 24"x 24" and cut it in half. The 12"x 24" fits perfectly in my 12 x 20 machine and gives me an extra while the other is being cleaned. To many years ago to remember where I purchased it.

Thanks Willy (sorry for the long delay in my reply). That's a good idea. I'll see if I can track something down. Bummer is there are a bunch of aluminum ones available, but I like steel better as I use magnets to keep the wood flat.
