I am rebuilding the gantry system on my laser cutter. The one that I bought does not have proper linear bearings and gets very wobbly when I push the speed. I thought that I would change out the drive system too.
I think I remember that Russ said that bigger pulleys were better for removing artefacts.
Cloud ray also sell a 3:1 reduction gearbox as part of their gantry system.
What do you guys recommend? Why?
