Been wanting to get into this hobby for awhile now and finally pulled the trigger after doing a ton of research. I have the newer version red/black 80w. Very excited to get started and experimenting. Was reading a ton on the grounding of the machine but thanks to this forum I think I know how to tackle it. My goal tomorrow is to set up my workspace and get the machine up and running. Excited to see what you are all working on.

Welcome Jared- the machine should be grounded but beyond that the wiring problems are usually with the outlets on the back of the machine- I always either replace them or don't use them at all. Be sure to backup your machine parameters, you can find that info in the FAQ section, and ask any questions you may have. Gene
