Hi All,

I have a Boss Laser 1420 60W and, for the life of me, I can't seem to get the settings correct. I am using LaserBond 100 to etch onto a brass plaque plate. Anyone with setting recommendations?

Thanks everyone!

Laser power and speed are ratios between lasers of different powers

In the link above are setting for laser bond 100.
For brass. A 30 watt machine running at 30w and 20”/sec....equal to 30w and 508mm/sec ......equals 23w@400mm/sec.....equal 14%@400mm/sec for a 60w machine

So for your machine I would start at 14%-20% @ 300 or 400mm/sec AND use a 0.05 interval
20% pwr @ 350mm/sec using a 0.05 interval is a good start for brass.....let me know how it works out

The brass has to be clean...no coatings, 2 even layers of laser bond
