My feeling and Engineering brain says with largely 20x20 and 20x40 framing with just corner brackets having that floating on feet is likely to develop issues when not bolted to a stiff base.
So I did have a long think about the base and hence why I have gone really heavy and stiff with the double torsion boxes and large legs. The issue of 'Racking' is what I hope to avoid. Dave V and I discussed it here recently only briefly and Matt of MW Laser was having issues with his current extrusion base and talking of going larger viewtopic.php?f=105&t=4830&p=26090#p26089 The reality is it will still only reduce the issue not fix it unless you add cladding or cross bracing. It is a fairly common thing with Tables/Workbenches et al. In reality I suspect mine could sit on three wheels and not dip more than 1mm corner to corner when glued and screwed. It will be built first before the Laser and the lower parts of the motion frame shimmed to level if needed.

The Plan doesn't show floor jacks yet as I haven't found any I really like. I have considered just making a simple stand to avoid the wobble between the nut and screw of a typical jack. Packing them up for an uneven floor is easy.

So it is strange I seemed to have overlooked providing a Link to the model here so you can have a zoom in and twirl around online
Right click gives the option to hide bits and do other things. Some of the other options include sections and even exploded views of the model.

Late last weeks arrivals from Cloudray. Current Russ's adjustable bracket is only available from their own website and not their AliExpress site. Also with Cloudray shop at both as pricing and shipping varies a fair bit.
