I am hoping this will be fairly self evident- this is built from 1x1/8 inch alum strap from the DIY store. The blades are black- measure them because they will vary from machine to machine. The lower piece should be a 1/4 or so longer than the distance across the bottom of two blades- it will have a tapped .25 x 20 hole in the center. I bent the ends up a bit with a vice and hammer- optional. The upper piece has a hole in it- about 3/8" and the piece pointing toward you will have the same hole in it and should be bent down a bit- at least 1/8"- it will hold your material down. The upper spring will hold the .25x20 machine screw up and the lower spring holds the upper and lower straps apart. These are compression springs and must be experimented with- I have a spring assortment and picked appropriate sizes. To apply the clamp you rest the upper on top of two blades and push down on the head of the screw till you can rotate the lower strap between the two blades. The upper spring or springs should have sufficient tension to hold down a warped piece of thing wood or acrylic- I have found the with my 4 foot deep blade bed that I can apply the clamps on the far side of the material and push the clamp to the rear with no problems.

If I were Brother Tim, I would animate the Fusion 360 file to demonstrate it but... I am not Tim.

If anyone has further questions, please ask. Gene

I do but they would not be strong enough. It is really easy to make with 1x1/8th inch aluminum from your diy store-
a couple cuts and a couple of holes and... bob's your uncle.
