Absolute newbie to laser. I live in South Africa. Started small leather works, bought the laser from factory in China. Service was amazing, shipped in 7 days. Packaging great, machine worked straight out of the box after 2 months at sea. (Almost, had to fit the Laser tube).
Now the fun starts. Getting settings right, sorting images for laser engraving and/or cutting.
I hope to learn a bit on this forum.
So far, I am impressed with the Chinese factory, service, packaging and general appearance of the machine.

Welcome Bruce- I would advise a very good exhaust system for leather- it cuts/engraves well but the smell is strong. Also record your Vendor file [as per the FAQ] as they are often lost in the early days of poking around to find out how things work. Gene
