I have been contolling the Assist manually for so long that I just noticed this new feature in Lightburn .09.22- YEAH... it is good to have people who actually care about their users [and speaking English probably helps too?]. Gene

Ruida’s CTO speaks English surprisingly well, but I feel they’re a bit more reluctant to change than we are. :)

I am rather surprised that they would speak any language with you? My Sweetie's four year old granddaughter is in a Chinese [pre] school emersion program, so maybe if I live forever I will have my own translator. I love that you are in touch with your clientele.

They've actually been pretty great - I'm sure initially they balked a little, but I suspect it's apparent that I'm helping them sell their hardware to a wider market. I met with the CEO and CTO at a signage expo in Vegas a couple years ago, and since then they've been quite forthcoming with documentation if I ask for it, and occasionally even when I don't.

Good to hear- the Chinese have always been kind of 'shy', perhaps [hopefully] they are starting to see that it is just one big crazy world and we might as well work together to everyone's advantage.

I was looking at my Ruida remote control yesterday and wondering how I could turn my exhaust fan on and off with it- maybe the U axis to trigger some SSRs?
