I had thought that too, so I did a mirror alignment for an hour and a half to make it as absolutely spot-on as I can, but I think the problem is my power is on the outside and thus when I cut that power converges and diverges faster than it should if it were in the middle

That is possible of course- I have never had that problem with a smaller machine but I am fighting it on this big machine. Russ has a video out with what he calls the fourth corner problem and his fix for it- adjusting mirror #1- but I have not been successful yet.
Russ thinks that the reject tubes [even from good tube makers] with bad beam patterns are finding their way to the aftermarket. I am inclined to agree unfortunately.

I dont have an opinion in thier reguard - I have never delt with them. Ihave seen many others here and elsewhere have - I assume they are ok since I havent seen any negative comments.

The shipping on a 130w tube was as much as the tube itself from CR, LightObject tests all their tubes before shipping [my SPT tube still had droplets inside when I got it] and shipping was reasonable. I buy a lot of stuff from both companies and I think CR is very good for a Chinese vendor but you can actually talk to Marco Wong at LO.

I'm looking at LO just to see what pricing might be like, and it looks comparable so I might go with them since they're US based. Looking at the 80-100 GSI, any thoughts there?

Marco has a video of trying to adjust the GSI for max output- does not look like something I want to do. The screws around the output mirror end of the tube are adjustments.
