Howdy from Texas! I joined the forum because I'm about to upgrade the proprietary controller on my CamFive (Chinese Yueming) CMA1390K laser to a Ruida RDC6445G, and am trying to soak up as much info as possible to hopefully help it go smoothly. πŸ‘πŸ˜…

Welcome Michael - if the old controller is not a Ruida you will have the problem of making new Vendor/User files- we have Recovery files which may help along with NotePad++ to compare them to other Vendor files. Gene

Thanks, Gene! That's what I'm afraid of because the old controller isn't a Ruida.. I was actually given this machine by a friend, and as of now I haven't even been able to connect a PC to it to try and pull the vendor settings. The control software and drivers seem to only work on Windows XP, so working on trying to get past that at the moment before I even consider putting in the new controller. The machine works wonderfully when running the files directly from a USB, which is what I've been doing up until now, but I'm sure it will have so much more potential with the modern controller. I'll post a new topic if it comes down to needing those recovery files. πŸ‘
