Hello everyone- a newbie here from CA...
I’ve spent the last couple of hours watching the amazing videos posted by Russ Saddler.
I got a used 50W Chinese machine that even thought it was working it had done weird behavior (moving opposite way yo the arrows in the keypad) not knowing any better I reset everything and things got bad :(
Since it’s new to me of course I don’t have settings backed up...
I’ve been trying to reset everything with Russ’ videos and I get closed ....to where the machine speed and movement is good but when I shut it off and back on it goes into stupid mode trying to kill itself again
I’m at the desperation point now !

Welcome Maurice- our standard first post response is to save your Vendor/User files, because, as you have noticed, they can be easily lost. We have a category called Rescue files where you could find a machine similar to you and try their machine files to get close. If you make a change to the files you must press 'write' ['Read' before changing] to save it to the machine memory. You can also use NotePad++ to compare your file with someone else's which can point out the differences, which can be helpful. Compare is a free add-on for NP++ by the way. Gene
