At the beginning of my journey in laser land, I did some text engraving that engraved the entire line, now when I engrave text it engraves one letter at a time, which is very time consuming. I am not that experienced with rdworks to explore this issue. My version is .40. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

In layer settings, untick individual output [or some thing similar?]- it gets turned on by itself occasionally.

For one text, that works well. I can switch between letter engraving and whole text engraving.
But If I want to engrave multiple texts I can't set the machine properly.
I want to create 100 pcs medals. Each medal has the same text.
If I tick off the individual output, it engraves multiple texts in one engraving process. From the left side of the machine to the right side with 0,1 mm steps. But it contains a lot of "G0" rapid movements.
How can I set to engrave the 1. medal then the 2....etc?
I tried to create a group but nothing...
Other question: I use matrixes to fill the whole sheet with rectangle shapes with some smaller inner shapes.
I want to cut first the inner shapes than the outers.
But if I want to delete overlapped lines, I lose the inner and outer references. So after optimization, all shapes and lines will be in the same priority of the optimization list. RDWorks can't handle the inner shapes in that case.
If I don't delete overlap, It can handle the inner-outer references, but that will cut a lot of lines twice...

You will either have to put things on different layers to group for engraving or manually group for optimaztion - in the cut/engrave sequence optimazation

for A/, you have to create different layers/colors for each "group".
for B/, there is no "direct" solution in RDWorks, but you can still use a different layer for shapes that must be cut first, then use layer ordering to make sure those shapes are cut first. you have to process the inside/outside yourself.
both points are solved in Lightburn, which i recommand (the first month is free, and the subscription is well worth it) :
for A/ you can scan "by groups", so you just have to "group" shapes to proceed them together
for B/, the optimization for cutting inner/outer shapes is done first, THEN the duplicates lines are removed.
