My Sweetie left for Ireland [not far from Tellamore [Dew for you whiskey fans]] and she will be doing crafts with her [kind of] nephew's daughter and her sister-in-law. So I got a last minute order for some buttons- horses for the daughter and acorns and Wrens for one of our fine designers here. Fun to make things... I actually know someone on the Shopbot board who makes a living making custom buttons.

PPS- I tried a bit of resin work this weekend- I domed one of the Wren buttons and tried to flow resin just to the border of the coaster with the Viking Tree of Life engraving- it did not work well, I had left the paper mask on the outer 1/8" boarder at the edge but could not get the epoxy to stop there, so I went to the edge- you can see the rough patches on each side of the tree did not fill nicely as they did not engrave evenly enough. I originally intended to put Initial letters on each side but it slipped my mind. I do like the non-circular outer edge- I will be using that detail again. The Wren button looks great tho.

I love the wren button - what sort of epoxy did you use for this.
I make these things and I think that a dome of epoxy would really set it off:
