David,

Sorry for not getting back sooner. I stopped checking for responses because I wasn't really getting anywhere (no offense to those who tried to help). I have tried two different solenoids with the same results, one from the UAA and one I purchased after reviewing several other forums. The switch we installed to control the pump itself is working fine, controlling whether the pump is on all the time or only runs when the laser is on.

As with everyone I imagine, we have work to do with this laser so we've put this behind us for now as it is not a show-stopper, just annoying. If it becomes more of an issue I'll look at it again.

Thanks,

Chris

Accessories: I have a combining lenses, pin tables [homebuilt], honeycomb tables , wireless remote, Modifed Ultimate Air Assist, home built non-powered rotary device, PrusaMK4 and Mini Prusa printers.

Part of my UAA modification is two on/off switches and a indicator light [lit when the higher pressure is energized], one switch turns off the high air pressure if you have accidentally enabled it on a layer and the other turns on the UAA in case you [me] forgot to click the button on the layer to enable it. It would work for you until you sort this out?
