Hey guys. I purchased a 100W china blue (Ruida 6445G)from eBay and have one of the hotdog roller style rotaries. Trying to get it going through RDWorks.
I’ve hooked into the Y axis and when I press the button to move the axis the rollers roll; and Ive figured out my circle pulses I think but it still doesnt make a full rotation on “test”. It overshoots. But more troubling is it wont run a program such as the square and line test.
Watching Russ‘s video on RD Works learning lab it seems like he gets it going pretty quickly after changing the user settings, however in my situation programs don’t run. I’ll press go on the program, there will be a brief progress bar, and then nothing.
The same happens in lightburn. Rollers can roll but it wont respond to data.
Anyone else having similar problems? Can’t figure it out
