so i am using rdworks software. I am trying to use my rotary. i pug the motor into the y driver. i then read the settings and turn on rotary and write it back to the machine. i can use the movement keys on the machine to roll the rotary. i even home the machine then rotate the tube. when i start a file it will turn to the home position and start to laser but only in a straight line it never turns! it doesn't matter what numbers i enter in to circle pulse or diameter it still doesn't rotate. rd works version is 8.01.48 and i have tried the new version as well same result. controller is 6445g.
Thanks for any help!!!

I dont use the versions of RDWORKs you are running - so my screens may be different.
When you say you turned on the rotary do you mean you have enabled the rotary in the screen shot I am showing (although my screen shot shows "not enabled'"

If you compare your Vendor files [with your friends] with Notepad++ [details in the FAQ section] it should be pretty easy to find the difference.
