I got my first CO2 laser last week, an OMTech AF2440 100w, and it's safe to say I am already addicted.
Got the alignment done and my first test cards within a few hours of delivery. I have since added LED strip lighting, 2 stage air assist hooked to 80g air compressor, external exhaust fan (removed stock fan), have the ruida acs app on my phone up and working.
So far I've done cutting boards, slate coasters, travertine coasters, acrylic, various plywood projects, I can't seem to leave the thing alone, even on my lunch break from work (work from home) I'm out cutting or engraving something.
I have a lot still to learn, but loving every minute of it. Can't wait to learn to use the laser in conjunction with my CNC router for projects.
