Been at this for over 15 years now, probably forgot more than I can remember, haha. Started out with two Yag's from the 80's,Quantrad Blazer 2000's, (Ran on Window's 95 or you could get the upgrade kit to run Windows 98) big as a small car, at the time it sucked using them, had a 4" x 4" engraving space, but what a piece of machinery it was and how it all was built and put together, (The chiller for these two monsters was a ColdShot 15 ton Glycol system) really amazing for it's time. We also had two ULS (I think they were ULS 25A's) Co2 machines had to actually take the table out of them for engraving anything that was like taller than 5 or 6 inches. Of course we had a New Hermes Vanguard machine for doing damn near anything, mini rotary machine, had like a 3 or 4 foot table, it was a beast!
Present day all of the old stuff is long gone and we have a Morn-Tech Co2 MT-L960 100 watt and a Epilog FiberMark Fusion 30 watt. We have a storefront but do internal work which is how this all started. Pretty much an endless supply of things to engrave. I think I've just about engraved everything you can think of and maybe some you haven't.
I'm pretty much self taught, when I got tapped to take over the engraving operations, there sure was not any internet information or groups or that many forums to ask for help, so I really didn't have any choice but to teach myself, It was a struggle sometimes, but I'm still here and still engraving my ass off so whether it's an unorthodox ways of doing things, it all must be working.
