Hello all,
Is there any parameter settings where we can prevent machine operation unless homing sequence has been successfully completed and X,Y zero position referenced?
We have on occasion crashes due to the operator inadvertently pressing cancel before the homing sequence is complete resulting in X,Y positions defaulting to 10000 and if the cut file is then run there is no reference position resulting in the carriage crashing into the end stops at high speeds.
If not can we install over travel limit switches to pause the machine, where will we connect these?
This is a large 3mx3m high speed servo machine, so crashes can result in serious damage or injury.
Thanks for your assistance.
Mark

No - not that I am familiar with in RDWORKS.
I am not sure any such parameter exists in LIGHTBURN but the author of that software may be able to write that code into Lightburn if you ask him.
he check in he on occasion in the Lightburn section and he oversee the LIGHBURN forum - https://forum.lightburnsoftware.com/
