Changes to the Forum: June 2024

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to apologize for the recent downtime on the site. We encountered a minor hosting issue during the update to the newest version of the phpBB software.

While the site's appearance hasn't changed, you may have noticed that you're now being redirected to https://forum.laseruser.com.

We've made this change because we felt the old forum name was becoming too restrictive. Although RDWorks remains a very popular piece of free software, it's not the only laser software available.

In the coming weeks, we will be renaming the forum and adding more sections to support a wider range of laser users. These new sections will cover various systems such as Leetro controller systems, Trotec, Epilog, ULS, and GCC, among others.

Additionally, we recognize that many of you have other equipment in your workshops. For example, I personally use a 3D printer, a heat press, a vinyl cutter, and a 24" printer. We are considering adding a "Supporting Equipment" section to the forum to accommodate these interests.

Please feel free to share any recommendations or suggestions you might have.
