I think I had to download the Android app directly from the Ruida website. That was a long time ago, so it may now be in the Android store. I don't use Android these days, so you will have to search.
Using your wife's iphone or ipad, open the App Store app. Go to the bottom of the screen and click on the search icon. Type Ruida into the search box. The Ruida ACS app (blue icon) is the second in the list of results (at least when I just tried it).

I have it on my Android, and I love it. She doesn't really do much with the laser, but 'want's to be prepared if she has to'. I'll look from her phone if I get the chance. I'm a PC / Android guy, so Apple / iPhone is Greek to me.

I asked Ruida directly for the Android app, and got a link. Installed and worked just fine, and they are still on V1.0. Went back to take a closer look, and the link fails like it's timed out.
Trying to figure a few of the buttons out on the app.
On the RDC6445G, the button in the center of the arrows changes the stepper motor movement from continuous to stepped, can't find the corresponding button on the app.
On the app, not sure what Trace On/Off, Laser Gate, and Speed do. I got a suggestion on another forum that Laser Gate and Speed are Power and Speed for actual cutting parameters, but haven't tried them in an actual cutting operation. I primarily use the app for mirror / beam setting.

The app was written before that controller came to market so I am not surprised that you can't do that function via the remote.
Yes, there are keys that none of us have figured out yet.

I have the first version of the wireless remote [the one on Cloudray looks different] and as I recall the speed button toggles between two speeds for the axis movements. I am sheltering at home so I cannot remember how the two speeds are set, I would guess in the Vendor settings but could be dis-remembering. I expect to be in the shop tomorrow when there are no sign people there to infect an old feller.
I use the remote to do the fine tuning of positioning the laser head- the control buttons are fast, one setting of the remote is very slow and the other is a happy medium. I also use it for setting the focus. I use it constantly, only problem I have with it is when the batteries are slightly low it stops working, so I have rechargeable batteries that are swapped out about every week.

Gene, you are talking about the physical remote. I'm talking about the Android app for the smart phone. As long as the controller is on the same network as your phone, it links right up. And I seem to remember to plug my phone in a whole lot better than I do any of my other rechargeable devices.
I would imagine the buttons are similar, but you know how app developers feel the need to re-invent the wheel.

I am indeed- I don't carry a cell phone, have taken way too many phone calls in my life. If I want to call someone I can turn it on. Battery life is quite good when turned off I find

There are days I wish I didn't have mine. The few times I have left it behind it was nice for a bit, but then I needed to get a hold of someone and it was very frustrating. The one thing I never thought I'd use as much as I do is the camera.
I'm not on any of the social media sites, but I used to keep a little spiral notepad in my pocket. My camera has taken the place of it, and unlike the notepad, not only do I have a picture of what I need, but I can erase it when I no longer need it.
