bialy100k is no longer a member and I and not sure about Cary.

I pulled the cover off the spare 6442S[EC] and took this pict for anyone who is interested in checking the hardware numbers. There is no seal of any kind that is broken by taking the cover off.

I have updated my controller with usb connection
RDC6442G
from
RDC-V8.00.47 HMI-V4.01.20
to
RDC-V8.00.50 HMI-V4.01.20
with firmware file RDC644XG-8.00.50.upd uploaded here by @Savio Thecnic

Now it read U-files created with rdworks 8.01.24 and works.

I took the risk to brick my controller but i was lucky this does not mean that everyone will be lucky...
Firmware update is very risky to brick your controller permanently so do not do it.
