Finding good material is a very locale-specific issue. For example, I'm in Sweden, and most US suppliers are worthless to me, much like me pointing out Biltema, Byggmax, Jula or Clas Ohlson would be to people in the US. There are users all over the world, and it'd be nice if we can gather good suggestions for local suppliers.
However, if we do it all in one thread, it'll be very messy. On the other hand, if we do each country in a separare thread, it'll be a big bunch of threads. How do you guys think it's best handled? A separate sub-category?

If you are willing to post material sources for location in your region and or country I will create appropriate Forums.
Not be native to Europe and or Scandinavia all of my geography knowledge is based upon nomenclature I read off a map.
So what I call a region or country may not be the appropriate vernacular used in that region.
So if you tell me what you would like to name the Forum for your region - that is the name I will use.
It would also be helpful to understand for instance do materials sourced in Sweden also apply to Norway or other neighboring countries?

I don't think we need a forum for each region, rather, a "Local sources for materials" forum, with a thread for each region.
I will add as I go, telling where I find stuff, quality, experiences and so on. I'm also pretty good at finding material in unexpected places...
As for size of region, I know Europe would be too big. Scandinavia would probably work, even if not everything would be applicable to every country, most of it would, and ordering stuff within Scandinavia is pretty quick and efficient. That said, I think every region will need to be evaluated on it's own. For example, I have no idea if, say, France and Spain should be the same region. That's why I think a forum with a thread for each region would be best, then people who knows the local market can start threads accordingly.

Here you go - we'll see how this works out.
If there are other countries lets add them.
