Hello, All, and thank you for letting me join you.
I'm a 63 year old woman with way too much imagination. That has led me to buy a 60w Chinese laser and I've been using it successfully for a bit over 3 months. I draw my own original designs, make them and sell either on Etsy or locally at farmer's markets.
Always happy to help others if I know the answer and usually try to research things to death before I'll ask a question in a forum. Don't want to be the 8,458th person to ask something simple.
Software wise, I regularly use Gimp, Inkscape, Blender, DesignSpace Mechanical, Freecad and Slicer for Fusion 360. I've been working straight out of RDWorks but just today downloaded Lightburn for a try.
Anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask.
Thanks again.
Marti
