Just got my new laser. Connected it to my network. I am able to control the X and Y from the PC and run programs.
2 questions:
1. I cannot move the x or y while pressing the control panel on the laser, I am able to move the bed up and down- what am I doing wrong?
2. Is there a frame command on the PC side?
Thx

On your laser touch pad to move in the X and Y are you pressing the left/right, up/down arrows .....or are you pressing ZU and then the left/right, up/down arrows
If you are pressing ZU...do not - just press the left/right, up/down arrows for X/Y motion

To mimic the keypad's frame command, I think what you want is the Go Scale function within RDWorks. It has been a long time since I have looked that up though, so you need to confirm by searching the manual. If I remember right, the Cut Scale command does something odd like actually fire the laser while framing, so you don't want to use that.
The free app for your smartphone has the frame function, too.
