I am very new to this laser and before I got the laser, I purchased a used ECO Plus 1/4hp chiller in preparation for the laser purchase. I had to disassemble it and clean it out but it works very well. It is capable of chilling 100 gal @ 0°C. That is crazy cold. I know this chiller is overboard but it only cost me $80. I was wondering what temperature I should set it at? What is the maximum cooling that I should do on the tube? I have a water temperature flow meter on its way to put in line once I attach this chiller so I can monitor the actual temperature out of the tube.

I'm using 20-21°C for a 60w laser on a chiller with computer control. When the laser is in use, it turns on the compressor about every five minutes or so, runs for one or two and cycles again.

I will adjust my temperature accordingly. I was getting a lot of condensation on the laser tube and the water tubing. I was running it at 7 C.
