My daughter and I are using the newer version of RDWorks (ver .40). We used a previous version. We don't know how to locate the item in the laser bed that is to be engraved or cut.
In the old version, we placed a box or rectangle around the object to be engraved. The rectangle was the size of the wood that was placed on the bed of the laser. Then we hid the rectangle because it was not supposed to be cut or engraved.
Then when we press the Frame button on the machine it does not track around the object to be engraved. It takes into account the rectangle that she was using.
Now we don't know where to place the object in the machine.
Would it be better to uninstall this version and go back to an older version? Which was the best version to use with the least problems?
