Hello,

one question, even i am too stupid or it is not possible....

After adding a text i searched a way to edit the Text.
Is that not possible?

I tried to click, double click, select again the Text on the left Menu, but did not find
a way to edit a text ??

Thx
Matthias

Strange, you had me wondering so I checked ...

Simply double click on the text itself, a window appears and allows you to change the font and text etc. click on ok to save.

Perhaps the window is hidden behind the main rdworks screen ....

Its never a stupid question, I can only guess the window pops up behind the main window, try clicking on the text not the middle of the window

Thanks a lot ... i am getting old :-)

Tomorrow i have to cut tis ( see picture )...in 2 steps.
The problem is....as you can see...it is too big. ;-)

But i can manage to put it into the laser , but the upper left corner of the piece i can not bring to my machine zero at the upper left.
I can only bring the lower left of the piece to the lower left of the machine.

Hope i set it up all right and the laser will cut it :-)

For sure, i will do a test before the final cut ...

Matthias

Ps.. i hope it works when i set the green square, the laser head and the lower left of the piece to coordinates 0,300 ( woking area is 300x500 )

you have a checkbox "cut selected graphics" + "select graphic position" or something like that --> you have to select everything, and it will be considered as one entity whose origin corner will be set at the "origin" of your machine

looks at the image on this page : https://www.reddit.com/r/lasercutting/c ... ntrdworks/

--> when doing this, the green corner will not be in the corner of your "grid", but at the corner of your "design bounding box".

then, you move the laser head to your 0,0 point on the table, hit "origin", and you can "frame" from rdworks to see if it fits.

you have to make sure that the origins are in the same place (for example top/left) for the design and the job.
