I came across this forum in search of understanding, as I've recently acquired a 100W BOSS LS-3655 driven through RDWorks. I'm sure like those before me and many more to come, I was looking up each setting in the manual term by term. I was trying desperately to understand words that spanned several pages. The letters formed things that looked like a language I knew, but I had never seen the language used like that before. Words that had no reason to be near each other were just jammed beside one another with little regard. I've worked with Epilog and Universal Laser Systems machines for almost eight years, but I'd never encountered such terms.
Just lurking here for an hour or two, I had already found links that pointed me in the way to understanding Pen mode and maybe how I could even implement it. While trying to understand Through Power, though clearly defined as "Percentage at which the power is set to. Refers to crush objects in unit time of the work done fast," (which is my favorite phrase in the manual), posts here provided me with some alternate verbiage. This allowed me to look at it from a different perspective.
I appreciate all of you translators here that have put in the time to learn the language so that others may prosper, and I look forward to continuing to further myself and benefit from your knowledge.
Many Thanks Already

Welcome Sidney, we do not have any Chinese speakers here and the manual was a saga that is probably not over yet. Side note- my sweetie's 3 yo granddaughter goes to a preschool where only Chinese is spoken, she understands it pretty well apparently, not sure what dialect. I would be interested in learning your comparisons of the Epilog and ULS lasers to your new machine as I have a similar Chicom machine to yours. Gene
