Hi everyone.
I don’t know where exactly to start about me, so first let me say, thank you. I found a great post about backlash tuning here and love this place already. So thanks.
I started using laser cutters in 2014 and they have all been RuiDa based machines essentially.
In 2017 I got hired to setup and operate a fab shop with a giant 260watt 5’ x 10’ laser, a little 80 watt machine, and a huge 1kw fiber laser. Things got weird there, so me and my best friend ended up starting another company and purchasing the little 80 watt machine from our former employer.
Fast forward a year or so and I am working with a ton of interesting people building signs, fine art, and all sorts of stuff.
I recently purchased a used 50 watt 12x20 laser and have been rebuilding / tuning it up for at home use.
Howdy

Welcome Bryan. I'm down the road just off I-10 west of Houston. Lots of good info here and don't hesitate to share some pics of what you do with your laser. Have fun and Merry Christmas in about 25 minutes.
