I believe that Thunderlaser is shipping a 1-year license for Lightburn with their CO2 lasers now. Seems like they have shipped LaserMaker for a while before that. If so, I wonder why they dropped the latter for the former.

In short, because LightBurn was much farther along on the feature set they wanted, with very similar design goals.
At a trade show last year they demo'd LaserMaker for me and I demo'd LightBurn for them - it was pretty clear that they were making something quite similar, and since I was ahead of them, they decided to just use LightBurn.
