New Old Member(s) Introduction

This is really a "on behalf of" introduction, as I have joined this forum as the secretary of a "Men's Shed" in the UK. This is a place where old retired gits like myself get together to make things for ourselves and for the local community. We were very fortunate to receive lottery funding for our Shed (30+ members and growing) allowing us to build a very large building and purchase quite a few industrial strength machines. In addition to wood turning lathes and other heavyweight stuff quite capable of performing a rapid unscheduled disassembly of any body part in the vicinity, we have a CNC router and 3D printer (an early Reprap design) and are just about to purchase a second-hand 100W 7050 machine (hopefully). Thus, we should soon be perfectly capable of physical, chemical or optical damage to any member, whether or not they have paid their annual subscription. Still, we have plentiful supplies of biscuits and tea available as a form of compensation, although admittedly, the recipient might find themselves unable to fully enjoy the experience.
