Can someone help me understand why I can not connect to RDWorks? I installed version 8.01.47. Using the same cable and usb port I am able to communicate with the laser using Lightburn and Metalcut. My control board UI is labeled RDC6332M. Lightburn software shows the controller as 644XG, so I am not sure what the board actually is because the laser manufacture removed the label.
My ultimate goal is to gather the manufacture perimeters, so if I can do that in another way please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

I've never used LB; does it use its own USB driver?
Have you tried installing the USB driver that comes w/ RDWorks? RDWorks may depend on a specific driver in order for it to see the laser.

I dont use LB either so I am clueless about LB except that many say it is great.

In LightBurn you can go to Edit > Machine Settings to edit the vendor parameters. Is there a specific setting you're looking for?
