I purchased a used 100watt 600x900. Came with computer and exhaust, blower, and c3000 cooler. After running for 2 weeks making small projects noticed work area was not centre over the mesh honeycomb, was off from the left side by almost 3 inches. Controller LCD screen was in chinese when I picked it up. Found video online to change to english. Then found a video that said how to centre..... HA, told me to go to default settings,,, As I did this a voice in the back of myhead was saying NOoo. Now I thought there should be a saved file on the computer somewhere to set back up as machine was dead in the water. Nope,, Not there. They had emptied their laser cutting folder, probly over to their new machine.
I called the company I purchased from and said never had done any types of backups. When new they had the sales/service company set up and then only used it as is. Any way with info found here and some more reputable videos than original one I had watched am back running, Although still working out how to setup for top right and home setup. Been out of cnc for awhile and steep relearn curve from what I used before.
Have an old Dahlgren 300x600 engraver that I used to use. Think I will dispose of it. Have not used it in a few years, No time, Anyone in the toronto/Kitchener area would like this at a Low price, I originally have $1,000 invested in it about 11 years ago. Would need dusted off etc..
Again glad I found this forum.
and thanks to those that post fixes for issues we newbies to lasers find

Welcome Earl- I googled your STJ9060 and it looks like a substantial machine. I would keep an eye on the 3000 cooler, it is basically a radiator with a fan to cool and with a 100w tube it could easily overheat. We have a lot of resources here, read the FAQ section and download our English translated manual. Ask whatever questions you may have. Gene

Thanks
I have been looking at temperature closely the few weeks I have had the machine. Ran a couple projects in a row a week ago, cutting 1/2 inch wood mostly and noticed the temp hovering about 24C, I'm out in my garage and its only lightly heated to keep from freezing. Come summer I think I will DIY an extra cooling coil. May save up some money for a chiller ni the future. Am off work right now and doing a list of home repairs etc,
