Hi, I am Jernej, hobbyist...bought a laser three years ago as just another one of my 237 hobbies. Well, it turned to be more than a hobby.
It's a chinese 60W (50W) red and black one and after watching most of Russ's videos I managed to make it work much better.
I’ve been noticing a significant drop in power lately, so my next project will be replacing the tube. So I joined to forum as I found lots of great info about laser stuff.
Otherwise I really enjoy tinkering my DIY CNC cutter with 1200x700mm table, photography, windsurfing all over mediteranean sea, camping-caravaning, constructing, making and racing sport model aeroplanes...aerobatic, speed and pylon racing, tinkering and basic programming arduino and raspberry stuff. restoring gramophones Thorens, Linn, Pink Triangle...from the golden era of vinyl records, making hifi speakers, amplifiers… many more.
My family is my lovely wife, two daughters, two sons, one snake named Petey. No cats, dogs or other pets as we don't have time to feed them.
My solving the Rubick's cube is under two minutes, but I cannot compete with my teenagers anymore.

A hobby should not be deprived of a job !

Kind Regards, Jernej

Here is one of my recent cuts with my laser (not my design).
