I am making an 18" long filament sealed filament box that will have 6 different colors of filament. I made an earlier version and made my usually errors, so it is time to make V2. The inside measurement of the box [it has a sealing lid that clamps tightly and has a rechargeable dehydrator and meter] is 18.5" so this will allow me to change out filament rolls easily. I printed flat bottom 'pulleys' to slip over .25x.75" cheap ball bearings for the edges of the rolls of filament to ride in and lasercut various brks to hold a couple of .25" threaded rods wide enough apart so they will sit securely, the printed pieces needed a bit of cleaning up as it is hard to get both inner edges nice when printing fast. So I printed a jig to go in my ancient Sear Roebuck floor standing drill press [which is as close to a lathe as I am likely to get] the jig locates the pulley and a printed hand nut secures it well enough to clean things up with a hand file quite easily [easy is important to me]. The jig is sitting on a laser cut hand wheel used on a laminating machine for production- they get dropped and broken occasionally. The red spools are the two different common spool widths- so some adjustment is necessary.
So for all of you who are wondering what you can do with a 3D printer... a lot of things, limited by your imagination.

Looks good @Gene
Sometime ago I made this double spool holder for my Double Ender Pro cabinet/fridge. Doing it again I would redesign it with Laser Cut acrylic roller holders to save a heap of print time and do the rollers on the printer. The rollers have a small bearing in like yours too. Room up top for all my open spools too so it sort of does double duty as an often heated storage space.

Three actually
There is a CR-10S that doesn't get used that often as the Enders with their smaller beds are less fuss and quicker to heat up. One of the Enders has a Flexion Pro Extruder fitted to it currently for TPU but I am thinking of swapping it out for a more current Geared Pancake style to save some weight.
The CR-10 lives in a wooden home with custom magnetic latching doors and knobs and now has a custom Electronics Box without the Power Supply inside which needs a revision now I know more.
