Great to finally be aboard. I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time here. I've watched most if not all of Russ' LearningLabs and finally getting to a stage in my life where I can spend some time playing with my Laser cutter and 3d printer.

I have a 50 Watt Chinese 4040 laser with a Ruida 6442 controller. I have been using RDWorks but will be purchasing Lightburn and transitioning to that as a UI to the laser.

I will be installing an ammeter once it arrives via AliExpress and I want to look at updating to a c-type lense holder. I'm not sure if that'll be practical though.

I am hoping to build my own frame and laser cutter over the next year so Russ' learning labs have been great in boosting confidence to try.

Thanks Russ and all who support and contribute to this forum.

Regards,
