Hello all!
My name is Cyril and I'm from The Netherlands.
All my life I've been a tinkerer, buiding all kinds of stuff. I've even made somewaht of a career out of it.
Over the years I've gathered a lot of tools, and my latest aquisition is a 50W laser cutter.
It arrived a week ago and since then I've rewired it completely, added a third stepperdriver and motor for the z-axis (just waiting for a new pulley), a safety switch for the door and ofcourse an ammeter. Parts for my DIY ultimate air assist are on their way and I'm hoping to add that later this week.
If everything goes as planned, I'm hoping to be able to test the laser itself this weekend.
I'm sure I'll need your help somewhere along the line, when I get around to aligning the mirrors and setting the parameters (although Russ' videos have been a big help already)
Greetings from The Netherlands
