Hi to all,
I've decided to build my own laser based on furtherfab Y1200 model. I have a question for those of you who did the Y axis with one Nema 23 :
Which belt and pulley are you using to motorised Y?
My plan is to use a 10mm steel rod on which I'll fix 2 30 teeth pulley to drive the belts, I need also a pulley for the motor and another one to make the rod turn. I've ordered a 60teeth and a 30 teeth for this but mainly because I struggled to find anything else for a 10mm rod...
Could you advise how to set up this for max speed and accuracy? should I put the 30 teeth on the motor and the 60 on the rod or vice n versa ?
Is there a website or a youtube channel where I could find good info about how to choose belt and pulley for those cases?? can't find anything good...
Thanks for your help
